About Me.

My name is Erika Hansson, a Swedish circus performer.

Educated at AMOC, Academy of Modern Circus in Copenhagen, Denmark where I graduated in June 2018.

My circus journey started at the age of 16 when I attended Sweden's first circus high school in the town of Gävle. 

​

You could say I'm multi-skilled within the circus arts as I've practiced many different disciplines through the years.

My first love was tightwire. Later standing on people and flying through the air became more appealing and ultimately later lead me to Copenhagen 2012.

2010 after graduating circus school I worked in Cyprus as a variety artist and clown performing 5 days a week. There I was determine to continue on my circus journey by upskilling and attended AFUK, Academy for Untamed Creativity for two years and later three years in their higher education AMOC.

I spent 6 years in the traing halls of Afuk & Amoc learning the art of creativity while refining my skills in handbalancing, acrobatics, hand to hand, banquine, aerial net and hula hoop.

After graduating 2018 I moved to Australia where I have worked as a performer and circus coach.

Working as a coach in aerial arts gave me the opportunity to add various aerial apparatus to my repertoire with aerial hoop being the main interest.
